Afonso Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cândido Martins in the 6th minute of play. Diamantino Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Faria having to interfere. Diamantino Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Afonso Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Carlos Pinheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Barrocalvo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Pinheiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Cândido Martins notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of SC Barrocalvo's Afonso Faria. Afonso Faria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carlos Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Telhados FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Barrocalvo:s goal. When the match had been going on for 34 minutes, SC Barrocalvo's Diamantino Nunes got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Vítor Reis. Cândido Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Carlos Pinheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Barrocalvo's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Pinheiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vítor Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Adolfo Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SC Barrocalvo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Telhados FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Pinheiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 55 in the game by Cândido Martins from a close distance when the talented Afonso Faria managed to make a qualified save. SC Barrocalvo's players were relieved. Vítor Reis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 96th minute Diamantino Delgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Telhados FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Barrocalvo.
