Albertino Queirós hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Joaquim Amaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Azambujeira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 37 played minutes Peroledo got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Magalhães. Azambujeira's Domingos Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Guarda in the 83rd minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Peroledo's Alexandre Leão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingos Simões narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
