Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nuno Ramos took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sezimbra's zone, Rui Aleixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaspar Barbosa came out of the goal and Rui Aleixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Ferro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Moniz in the 14th minute of the match. A collision led to Sezimbra getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Cristiano Anjos hit a great ball. Cristiano Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Gaspar Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Júlio Moniz came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Sezimbra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Moniz couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd match minute, Ancos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Pinto to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Nuno Ramos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Ferro was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Viriato Pinto's late challenge caught a Ancos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viriato Pinto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute of the match Ancos got a corner. Sezimbra's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. André Tavares ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Sezimbra's goalie and right to Raul Cruz. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Sezimbra's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Sezimbra's Nuno Ramos in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ancos's goalie prevented a goal. Rui Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Ferro made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Júlio Moniz sent off a good shot on target. André Pinto charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Pinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sezimbra booed when Ancos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuno Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ricardo Ferro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ancos's Ricardo Ferro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Ramos in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sezimbra's Nuno Ramos got a free kick in the 45th minute. When Sérgio Alves fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ancos's protests and gave Sérgio Alves a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Sérgio Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Júlio Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rui Aleixo made a kick off. Ricardo Ferro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Nunes in the 51st minute of the match. Cristiano Amorims short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Gaspar Barbosa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sezimbra's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Rui Aleixo scored to the left of an out of position Gaspar Barbosa, making the score, 0-1. In the 62nd minute, Nuno Ramos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Ferro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Júlio Moniz took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Ferro. Ricardo Ferro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Nuno Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Ferro having to interfere. If Nuno Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Ferro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Moniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ancos's goalkeeper Ricardo Ferro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gaspar Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Aleixo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The supporters of Ancos booed when Sezimbra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sezimbra's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. André Tavares was slow to take the kick. During this time Ancos's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Afonso Nunes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sezimbra's Gaspar Barbosa did a great save. Sezimbra's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
