Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nuno Ramos took the kick off in the first half of the match. 12 minutes into the match, João Aguiar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaspar Barbosa. Sezimbra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Aguiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The supporters of Sezimbra booed when Eiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Jesus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simão Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Barbosa having to interfere. Luís Guarda hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute of the match, Simão Baptista got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gaspar Barbosa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Simão Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nuno Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. José Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eiras FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Nuno Ramos scored to the left of an out of position José Luz, making the score, 1-1. A collision led to Sezimbra getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Cristiano Anjos hit a great ball. When Carlos Alves came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Eiras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Alves couldn't finish the play. Gaspar Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Baptista in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sezimbra's Jaime Nunes got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 73rd minute, Nuno Ramos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Carlos Alves came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Eiras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Alves couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Eiras FC's Cláudio Maia got a free kick in the 82nd minute. With a little luck, Eiras FC's José Luz got control of the ball when Júlio Moniz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 86 minutes into the game, when Daniel Santarém put in a rough tackle. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Eiras FC! José Luz had in the 88thth minute some difficulties stopping Bruno Mendes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Bruno Mendes scored 1-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Luz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nuno Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sezimbra's goalkeeper Gaspar Barbosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sezimbra's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
