Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when João Ribeiro kicked off to start the match. 10 minutes into the match, SC Poceirao's goalkeeper Cláudio Garcia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Alves. SC Poceirao's Cláudio Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save SC Poceirao from getting a goal against them. João Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ricardo Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Bessa in the 20th minute of play forced SC Sernelha's goalkeeper Ricardo Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Antunes in the 21st minute of play forced SC Poceirao's goalkeeper Cláudio Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Mariano Antunes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cláudio Garcia. SC Poceirao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Antunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to SC Sernelha getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Mariano Antunes hit a great ball. José Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Garcia having to interfere. José Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Sernelha's Ricardo Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Bessa in the 36th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Antunes made a kick off. SC Poceirao's Cláudio Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Antunes in the 53rd minute of play. SC Poceirao's João Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 58 minutes, Lúcio Leal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Poceirao and the SC Sernelha players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ricardo Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Ribeiro in the 71st minute of play. In the 77th minute, Mariano Antunes made a precise shot to the right of Cláudio Garcia. SC Poceirao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Mariano Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Alves in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cláudio Garcia saved SC Poceirao from getting behind. João Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Sernelha's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
