After a rather tough play, Vilarouco FC's Mário Amaral got a free kick in the 5th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Domingues in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Jesus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rogério Aleixo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Tavares in the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, SC Lourinha's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Tavares came free, but Rogério Aleixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogério Aleixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Correia during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Rui Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogério Aleixo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simão Luz in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simão Luz got free with Rogério Aleixo in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, SC Lourinha's Rogério Aleixo got control of the ball when Simão Luz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rui Jesus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Brás's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Vilarouco FC's Rui Tavares ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rogério Aleixo. Rogério Aleixo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 40th match minute, SC Lourinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Veiga to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Rui Tavares fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Emanuel Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rui Jesus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Brás, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

Diamantino Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Rui Tavares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogério Aleixo was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Rui Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Rogério Aleixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute of the match Tomás Neves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rui Jesus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Augusto Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vilarouco FC's Rui Jesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Brás in the 76th minute of play. Augusto Domingues in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rui Jesus, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Rui Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Vilarouco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Tavares couldn't finish the play. Augusto Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Rui Jesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vilarouco FC had won after a very even match.
