Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Duarte Torres started the match with the kick off. Joaquim Viegas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Cláudio Oliveira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Duarte Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Cláudio Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Sérgio Valente made a precise shot to the right of Filipe Queirós. Arreciadas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Filipe Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Valente, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Filipe Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Valente in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Arreciadas FC's José Anjos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cláudio Oliveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. José Anjos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Cláudio Oliveira made a huge save. 33 minutes into the match, Forninhos's goalkeeper Cláudio Oliveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Anjos. Duarte Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duarte Torres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cláudio Oliveira having to make a save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sérgio Valente to strike the kick off in the second half. When José Anjos came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Arreciadas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Anjos couldn't finish the play. Jorge Vieira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Filipe Queirós made a huge save. 65 minutes into the match, José Anjos notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Forninhos's Cláudio Oliveira. Cláudio Oliveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Duarte Ferro's late challenge caught a Arreciadas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duarte Ferro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th match minute, Forninhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Ferro to maneuver through the defense. Cláudio Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Torres in the 69th minute of the match. Sérgio Valente struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Filipe Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forninhos. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquim Viegas during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 72 played minutes Arreciadas FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Viegas. In the 75th minute Duarte Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Forninhos getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Duarte Ferro hit a great ball. Forninhos's Cláudio Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Torres in the 78th minute of play. Jorge Vieira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Filipe Queirós firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arreciadas FC's goalkeeper Filipe Queirós, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Duarte Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Cláudio Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 minutes of play Arreciadas FC's Joaquim Viegas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Arreciadas FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Joaquim Viegas hit a great ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
