Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gil Santarém got the match started through his kick off. In the 16th match minute, SC Assilho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Delgado to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in SC Assilho's zone, Gil Santarém stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Óscar Pereira came out of the goal and Gil Santarém tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Rogério Vale kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Óscar Pereira. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Gil Santarém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rui Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Moreira having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Nuno Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Assilho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Maia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, SC Assilho's Jorge Machado got a free kick in the 35th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Rui Lopes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Lúcio Moreira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rui Lopes struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Lúcio Moreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Assilho. Álvaro Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Óscar Pereira having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rui Lopes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Rui Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Assilho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Assilho's Nuno Maia got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lúcio Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Lopes in the 59th minute of the match. If Rui Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes Lombador got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Rocha. Gil Santarém might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Óscar Pereira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gil Santarém ran back to his position shaking his head. Gil Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Óscar Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuno Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Monteiro hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Vítor Paredes hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rdth minute of the game Rui Lopes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lombador's Lúcio Moreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
