Mário Leal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Simão Simões showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. With a left leg Mário Leal saved Zebras from getting behind. The Varzea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Zebras's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
