Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) David Ferreira made the kick off and thus started the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Minhotais FC's David Ferreira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Ferreira. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. 17 minutes into the game, Bernardo Soares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. José Vale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Sabroso FC defense, Xavier Gueifão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Ferreira. The Sabroso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Ferreira should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Minhotais FC's goalkeeper José Vale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vicente Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Fernando Lisboa, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 38thth minute of the game David Ferreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sabroso FC's Daniel Ferreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Leal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Daniel Ferreira made a huge save. Daniel Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. When David Ferreira came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Minhotais FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Ferreira couldn't finish the play. Pedro Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Ferreira having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardo Soares was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Bernardo Soares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Bruno Gaspar hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Soares during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pedro Leal charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Leal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pedro Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Esteves got free with José Vale in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute David Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. José Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Vale having to interfere. Adelino Porto charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adelino Porto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th minute, Adelino Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 91 minutes, Alexandre Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sabroso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Leal in the 93rd minute of the match. After 95 played minutes Minhotais FC got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Gueifão. 96 minutes into the match, Minhotais FC's goalkeeper José Vale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Esteves. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
