Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when José Pinheiro took the kick off in the first half of the match. If André Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Matias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Ferreira in the 4th minute of play. Regatinha's Oliveira Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Pinheiro in the 7th minute of play. If Óscar Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliveira Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. José Pinheiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oliveira Tavares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Pinheiro in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oliveira Tavares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adolfo Matias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Cunha in the 19th minute of the match. If André Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th match minute, Adeganha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Simões to maneuver through the defense. After 27 played minutes Adeganha got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Resende. After a defensive mix-up in Adeganha's zone, André Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Matias came out of the goal and André Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacinto Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Matias having to interfere. The audience was convinced that André Cunha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adolfo Matias was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Ferreira in the 35th minute of play forced Adeganha's goalkeeper Adolfo Matias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, José Pinheiro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jacinto Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Filipe Guarda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, João Morais notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Adeganha's Adolfo Matias. Adolfo Matias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Jacinto Ferreira made the kick off in the second half. If José Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliveira Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Pinheiro in the 59th minute of the match. When José Pinheiro came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Adeganha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Pinheiro couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Óscar Machado in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oliveira Tavares saved Regatinha from getting behind. Oliveira Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Pinheiro in the 66th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Ferreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adolfo Matias was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Diamantino Resende hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When André Cunha got free in front of the goal in the 79th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Adolfo Matias was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Jacinto Ferreira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Adolfo Matias, passed just outside the right post. Regatinha's Oliveira Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Óscar Machado in the 87th minute of play. José Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Oliveira Tavares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adeganha. The Adeganha supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Regatinha's performance. The match ended with a win for Regatinha.
