A collision led to SC Ossada getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. António Figueiredo hit a great ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Diamantino Anjos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Ossada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diamantino Anjos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Ossada's zone, Rafael Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Martins came out of the goal and Rafael Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Ossada's Marco Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Faria in the 26th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Xavier Viegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Ossada and the SC Corgos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Xavier Viegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Ossada's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gonçalo Tavares was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Corgos's players had a chance to rest. SC Corgos's Gonçalo Tavares was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marco Martins in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fernando Ribeiro struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Manuel Soares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Ossada. Augusto Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Ossada fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Marco Martins, was totally fooled by SC Corgos's Gonçalo Tavares, who 42 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 47 minutes, Duarte Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Corgos and the SC Ossada players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Corgos's Duarte Neves got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Rafael Faria made the kick off in the second half. Diamantino Anjos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Corgos's zone, Diamantino Anjos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Soares came out of the goal and Diamantino Anjos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Corgos's Manuel Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Ribeiro in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th match minute, SC Corgos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Maia to maneuver through the defense. When Augusto Maia got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for SC Corgos. The audience was convinced that Augusto Maia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Martins was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After 72 played minutes SC Corgos got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Anjos. When Duarte Neves was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 74 minutes had been played. 76 minutes into the match, Mariano Nascimento sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Manuel Soares threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Mariano Nascimento this time. In the 78th minute, Diamantino Anjos made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Soares. SC Corgos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Diamantino Anjos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Soares having to make a save. Marco Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
