The shot was a little too simple and Delfim Oliveira could save by the left post. Carrazedelo's Gaspar Porto got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Paulo Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute António Amaral collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. After 19 minutes, Diogo Luz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carrazedelo and the Broalhos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute of the match Rogério Moreira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miguel Cabral skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Gaspar Porto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delfim Oliveira was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artur Mota in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delfim Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gaspar Porto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Delfim Oliveira made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, Broalhos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Mota came free, but Delfim Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Gaspar Porto took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Delfim Oliveira to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Artur Mota came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Carrazedelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Mota couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Pedroso during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Delfim Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Mota in the 56th minute of play. Duarte Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Broalhos FC's Delfim Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Mota in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Duarte Luz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Broalhos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carrazedelo the free kick. After 73 minutes of play, Broalhos FC's Adelino Guerreiro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Cabral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Delfim Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The supporters of Carrazedelo booed when Broalhos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Pedroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaspar Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Artur Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Oliveira having to interfere. Artur Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Delfim Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adelino Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
