Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Diamantino Branco started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Inácio Magalhães charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inácio Magalhães the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Inácio Magalhães hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Simões blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Paredes having to make a save. If Rodrigo Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Palmela's Carlos Trindade got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Rodrigo Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute Rodrigo Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Vilarouco's Álvaro Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd match minute, SC Vilarouco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Simões to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in SC Vilarouco's zone, Nuno Coimbra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cláudio Maia came out of the goal and Nuno Coimbra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Joaquim Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diamantino Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nuno Coimbra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Palmela's Diamantino Branco got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Álvaro Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Paredes came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Vilarouco's Álvaro Lima. But to his dismay, Álvaro Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Cláudio Maia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nuno Coimbra in the 58th minute. If Rodrigo Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diamantino Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Maia having to interfere. In the 70th minute, SC Vilarouco's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nuno Coimbra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Manuel Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Álvaro Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When SC Vilarouco's Rodrigo Simões in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palmela's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Lima in the 82nd minute of play forced Palmela's goalkeeper Manuel Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Paredes having to interfere. SC Vilarouco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Álvaro Lima took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Paredes. Manuel Paredes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Branco in the 95th minute of play forced SC Vilarouco's goalkeeper Cláudio Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
