Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Perelada FC's Simão Coelho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Alfredo Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cândido Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cândido Garcia having to interfere. Heitor Abreu took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cândido Garcia. Cândido Garcia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 14th match minute, Perelada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the game, Oliveira Antunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Marinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perelada FC the free kick. 23 minutes into the match, Perelada FC's Armindo Resende sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Vale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Perelada FC's Simão Coelho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paulo Vale. Paulo Vale yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 28 minutes into the match, SC Marinha's goalkeeper Paulo Vale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armindo Resende. SC Marinha's Paulo Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Coelho in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Perelada FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Sandro Melo hit a great ball. Perelada FC's Armindo Resende got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 46 played minutes, Perelada FC's Gil Santarém shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulo Vale came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Perelada FC reached it. After the first half SC Marinha were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Heitor Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Cândido Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Heitor Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Marinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Heitor Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cândido Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The SC Marinha fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when SC Marinha's Heitor Abreu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Paulo Vale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armindo Resende's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Heitor Abreu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Cândido Garcia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 71st minute, Simão Coelho made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Vale. SC Marinha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. If Heitor Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th match minute, Perelada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Branco to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to SC Marinha getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. José Jesus hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Simão Coelho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Vale. SC Marinha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simão Coelho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. Armindo Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armindo Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Paulo Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SC Marinha supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Marinha would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
