Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jorge Branco started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rodrigo Moniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Henriques in the 3rd minute of play. Jorge Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Nogueira having to interfere. The supporters of Bececarias booed when Ramalde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertino Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes, Bececarias's Adolfo Correia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rodrigo Moniz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bececarias reached it. After some careless play in the Ramalde FC defense, Afonso Leiria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Moniz. The Ramalde FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Moniz should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute of the match Catarino Ferreira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emílio Nogueira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Afonso Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquim Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Emílio Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ramalde FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Moniz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emílio Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Joaquim Amaro scored 2-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emílio Nogueira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Filipe Abreu hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When Pedro Carneiro fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ramalde FC's protests and gave Pedro Carneiro a yellow card for diving instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Afonso Leiria made the kick off in the second half. Bececarias were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Ramalde FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adolfo Correia took the corner. When Catarino Vieira came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Bececarias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Catarino Vieira couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Catarino Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bececarias's supporters rose to their feet, but Catarino Vieira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Moniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Afonso Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Emílio Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Catarino Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ramalde FC's zone, Afonso Leiria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Moniz came out of the goal and Afonso Leiria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, Bececarias's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Amaro came free, but Emílio Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute Jorge Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Moniz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Catarino Vieira in the 85th minute. Pedro Carneiro got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Ramalde FC's Pedro Carneiro got a free kick in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Ramalde FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Moniz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Catarino Vieira. Afonso Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Moniz having to interfere. Ramalde FC's Joaquim Amaro got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emílio Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Joaquim Amaro took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emílio Nogueira. Emílio Nogueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Bececarias's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
