When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Armando Dantas made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Moutinho in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Moutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Bustelo's Armando Dantas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Dias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Simão Dias made a great header on Bustelo's corner, it was just that SC Azambuja's Cristiano Dias managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, SC Azambuja's Fernando Morais got a free kick in the 67th minute. SC Azambuja's Cristiano Dias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save SC Azambuja from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, Bustelo's Francisco Oliveira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Dias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When David Viana came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Bustelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Viana couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute, Carlos Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Queirós in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Azambuja fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bustelo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
