Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lourenço Figueiredo took the kick off in the first half of the match. João Pinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vítor Moreira. Negreda FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcelim FC's Afonso Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Marcelim FC from getting a goal against them. When Miguel Aguiar fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marcelim FC's protests and gave Miguel Aguiar a yellow card for diving instead. Alexandre Brás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Afonso Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the game, Hugo Gomes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Negreda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marcelim FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Negreda FC's Hugo Gomes got a free kick in the 21st minute. Marcelim FC's Paulo Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Mendes in the 27th minute of play forced Negreda FC's goalkeeper Vítor Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Marcelim FC's Afonso Fonseca got control of the ball when Alexandre Brás tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulo Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Moreira having to interfere. Paulo Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Moreira having to interfere. Vítor Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Nunes in the 45th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Teixeira during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Marcelim FC booed when Negreda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Mendes to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcelim FC's Paulo Mendes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vítor Moreira. That made the score 0-1 after 52 minutes of play. Alexandre Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armindo Lisboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Negreda FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. João Teixeira hit a great ball. Vítor Moreira acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 70th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Manuel Coimbra. Nuno Santos struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Afonso Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Negreda FC. In the 74th match minute, Marcelim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Coimbra to maneuver through the defense. Negreda FC's Vítor Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Mendes in the 78th minute of play. Lourenço Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lourenço Figueiredo in the 92nd minute of the match. Afonso Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Brás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Marcelim FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
