Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute, Pereira's Inácio Coimbra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vítor Moreira. Vítor Moreira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Paulo Borba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Vítor Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Borba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Brás, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Eduardo Borba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandre Brás went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Alexandre Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pereira's zone, Alexandre Brás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Borba came out of the goal and Alexandre Brás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pereira's Eduardo Borba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lourenço Figueiredo in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Alexandre Brás managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Negreda FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Brás was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the game, Vítor Nunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pereira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Negreda FC the free kick. Vítor Nunes hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 34th match minute, Pereira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Silva to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lourenço Figueiredo made a kick off. Negreda FC's Alexandre Brás got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th match minute, Pereira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Cabral to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th match minute, Negreda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Pereira booed when Negreda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vítor Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Borba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
