Lucas Pedrosos short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got António Matos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to SC Recarei getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Lúcio Machado hit a great ball. Lúcio Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 12 minutes, Paulo Assis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dores and the SC Recarei players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Dores:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Recarei:s goal. Dores:s Fábio Leite showed great skill when he stopped António Rocha:s penalty. In the 13th minute, António Rocha made a precise shot to the right of Fábio Leite. Dores's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Rogério Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Assunção in the 18th minute of play forced Dores's goalkeeper Fábio Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogério Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Leite having to interfere. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Recarei's goalkeeper António Matos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When André Antunes fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Recarei's protests and gave André Antunes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SC Recarei getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. André Antunes hit a great ball. When Dores's Lucas Pedroso in 43 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. António Matos guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. André Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Fábio Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half SC Recarei were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Pinheiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as André Pinheiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fábio Leite. That made the score 1-3 in the 53 minute of play. SC Recarei's António Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Aguiar in the 59th minute of play. After having played for 60 minutes, Manuel Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dores's Manuel Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Pinheiro in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fábio Leite saved Dores from getting behind. In the 67th match minute, Dores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by António Rocha in the 68th minute really tested Fábio Leite's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Fábio Leite made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogério Assunção in the 69th minute. A collision led to Dores getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. David Moreira hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, SC Recarei's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Pedroso came free, but António Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogério Assunção could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Fábio Leite made a huge save. Fábio Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fábio Leite was a little too slow when Rogério Assunção got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 1-4. If Rogério Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cláudio Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Fábio Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded SC Recarei left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dores.
