Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jaime Mota got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Duarte Moniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 4 minutes, João Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Ovil's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Carrica's Fernando Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Mota in the 6th minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 10th minute when Jaime Mota elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. António Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Moniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Ovil's João Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Duarte Moniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SC Carrica getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gabriel Figueiredo hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, SC Ovil's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Viegas came free, but António Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Duarte Moniz to make the kick off. In the 57th match minute, SC Ovil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Américo Barros to maneuver through the defense. Duarte Moniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Faria in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Vieira saved SC Carrica from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in SC Ovil's zone, Duarte Moniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. António Correia came out of the goal and Duarte Moniz tried to chip the ball over his head. In the 82nd minute, Duarte Moniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Paulo Viegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. António Correia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duarte Moniz's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. 92 minutes into the match, SC Ovil's goalkeeper António Correia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Viegas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Monteiro in the 99th minute of play forced SC Carrica's goalkeeper Fernando Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Ovil's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
