Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fuseta FC's José Nascimento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tiago Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Sesimbra's Cândido Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Nascimento in the 4th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Gonçalves during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fuseta FC's Fernando Gonçalves got a free kick in the 8th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Diamantino Antunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sesimbra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fuseta FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sesimbra's Diamantino Antunes got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19thth minute of the game Daniel Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sesimbra's Cândido Maia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Nascimento in the 24th minute of play forced Sesimbra's goalkeeper Cândido Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Nascimento hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. José Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Fuseta FC defense, Pedro Alves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rui Alves. The Fuseta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rui Alves should have stopped the shot. Hélder Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Cândido Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cândido Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Marques in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fuseta FC's goalkeeper Rui Alves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When Paulo Antunes fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fuseta FC's protests and gave Paulo Antunes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sesimbra booed when Fuseta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 55th play minutes José Nascimento shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Cândido Maia and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Daniel Marques got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Daniel Marques scored 1-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cândido Maia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. José Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Cândido Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute of the match, José Nascimento tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cândido Maia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. José Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Cândido Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Alves in the 87th minute of play forced Fuseta FC's goalkeeper Rui Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Fernando Gonçalves fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. António Jesus kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. If Pedro Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Fuseta FC's José Nascimento got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Fuseta FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fuseta FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
