Hugo Resende kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. When Hugo Resende came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Pinas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Resende couldn't finish the play. Óscar Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Leal having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Morais got free with João Leal in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 23 played minutes Pinas got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Lisboa. Bernardo Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Resende in the 30th minute of the match. In the 36th minute of the match Augusto Viana sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Leal skillfully saved the ball. João Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Morais in the 37th minute of play. Bernardo Guerreiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Resende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Resende made a kick off. If Alberto Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastião Matias struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. João Leal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ulme. Paulo Nunes's late challenge caught a Ulme's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Nunes helped the player get up and apologised. Paulo Nunes hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Ulme's goalkeeper Bernardo Guerreiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Óscar Machado. When Ulme's Alberto Morais in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pinas's goalie prevented a goal. Bernardo Guerreiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Resende, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 92 minutes into the match, Alberto Morais had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Leal. Pinas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Morais was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.
