Sérgio Guerreiro scored 1-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Borba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rui Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Santaes FC had won after a very even match.
