Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rodrigo Coimbra got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Tavila's zone, Joaquim Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Amorim came out of the goal and Joaquim Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Tavila getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Eusébio Fonseca hit a great ball. Rodrigo Coimbra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vítor Porto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Sequeira's António Faro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Ferreira in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Amorim saved Tavila from getting behind. If Carlos Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 played minutes Sequeira got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Pereira. A collision led to Tavila getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Carlos Amaro hit a great ball. Rodrigo Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Vítor Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Ferreira to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Coimbra was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Tavila's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Carlos Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodrigo Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Amorim having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Tavila's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Brito came free, but Jorge Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tavila's Fernando Luz got a free kick in the 91st minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
