Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Redundo's Gabriel Guarda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Redundo booed when Olhalvo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olhalvo's Gonçalo Brás proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Olhalvo from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the match, Manuel Rocha notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Redundo's Afonso Neto. Afonso Neto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manuel Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Afonso Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 played minutes, Redundo's Eduardo Melo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gonçalo Brás came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Redundo reached it. Afonso Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Moutinho in the 33rd minute of play. Luís Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gonçalo Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Amaral in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gonçalo Brás, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 42nd minute, Manuel Correia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afonso Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Redundo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Olhalvo were winning 1-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Rocha to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Manuel Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olhalvo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Manuel Correia came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Olhalvo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Correia couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute, Gabriel Guarda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gonçalo Brás came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Redundo's Gabriel Guarda. But to his dismay, Gabriel Guarda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 63 minutes into the game, one of Redundo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Rocha in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Correia got free with Afonso Neto in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vasco Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. If Manuel Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Neto having to interfere. Manuel Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Afonso Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Olhalvo's Gonçalo Brás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Guarda in the 86th minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Olhalvo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Moutinho to maneuver through the defense.
