Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristóvão Campos kicked off to start the match. If Sebastião Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute of the game, Manuel Simões landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 5 minutes, Luís Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sages and the SC Constance players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sages getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Luís Carvalho hit a great ball. Duarte Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Assunção, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandre Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Martins having to interfere. Jacinto Martins made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when André Delgado sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute, Cristóvão Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandre Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raul Amaro during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Raul Amaro kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Duarte Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Assunção, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Tiago Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Sebastião Assunção might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duarte Matos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastião Assunção ran back to his position shaking his head. Sérgio Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Duarte Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 45 minutes, Alexandre Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sages's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adelino Coimbra charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adelino Coimbra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adelino Coimbra kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. 49 minutes into the match, SC Constance's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Barbosa came free, but Jacinto Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Sages's Duarte Matos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Sages from getting a goal against them. Alexandre Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Jacinto Martins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sages. André Delgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, André Delgado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sages fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 90 minutes of play SC Constance's Raul Amaro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Raul Amaro hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Jacinto Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Delgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The SC Constance players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Sages from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
