Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vinhas FC's Pedro Amaral started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bruno Assis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Garcia in the 16th minute of play. Eduardo Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Matos in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cavaco FC's João Vaz got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cavaco FC's zone, Pedro Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Fonseca came out of the goal and Pedro Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Emanuel Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cavaco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Pires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Assis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Artur Torres charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artur Torres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Artur Torres hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Cavaco FC's Eduardo Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Amaral in the 32nd minute of play. Bernardo Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Eduardo Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Pedro Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Cavaco FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Jorge Barros hit a great ball. After 40 played minutes Cavaco FC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Matos. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Cavaco FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vinhas FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Eduardo Fonseca, was totally fooled by Vinhas FC's André Veiga, who 45 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Pedro Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55thth minute of the game Bernardo Simões who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cavaco FC's Eduardo Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cavaco FC's Hugo Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Hugo Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cavaco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Assis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernardo Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Cavaco FC booed when Vinhas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hugo Garcia struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Bruno Assis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cavaco FC. In the 84th minute, Emanuel Pires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruno Assis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Garcia in the 89th minute of play. Emanuel Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Bruno Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Emanuel Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
