Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Domingos Amaral started the match with the kick off. David Queirós struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Luís Brás didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Pepim. Luís Brás didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Gueifão went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Queirós got free with Luís Brás in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute, Domingos Amaral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hélder Teixeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 27 minutes, Amadeu Alves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Pepim and the Envendos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. David Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Brás having to interfere. SC Pepim's Hélder Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Amaral in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to SC Pepim getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Carlos Freitas hit a great ball. Manuel Gueifão walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 42 minutes, Manuel Gueifão made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. SC Pepim's Hélder Teixeira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Envendos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Gueifão came free, but Luís Brás reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Óscar Moura charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Óscar Moura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Óscar Moura hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. When Rui Miranda fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Envendos FC's protests and gave Rui Miranda a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Rui Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Brás having to interfere. After having played for 67 minutes, David Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Pepim's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Envendos FC booed when SC Pepim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Hélder Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Envendos FC's Domingos Amaral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hélder Teixeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luís Brás showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Queirós in the 78th minute of the match. If Augusto Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Luís Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Queirós in the 93rd minute of play forced Envendos FC's goalkeeper Luís Brás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
