Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Augusto Gueifão started the match with the kick off. Jorge Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Teixeira having to interfere. In the 6th minute, David Queirós left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Pepim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jorge Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Gomes in the 16th minute of play forced SC Pepim's goalkeeper Hélder Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 played minutes Adaes FC got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Moura. Augusto Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Sérgio Viegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th match minute, Adaes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Moura to maneuver through the defense. Adaes FC's Sérgio Viegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Queirós in the 37th minute of play. When Emílio Brás fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Adaes FC's protests and gave Emílio Brás a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Queirós in the 45th minute of play forced Adaes FC's goalkeeper Sérgio Viegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Pepim's Óscar Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
In the 54th minute, Joaquim Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of SC Pepim booed when Adaes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Pepim's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sebastião Ferreira in the 60th minute. Sebastião Ferreira made a great header on SC Pepim's corner, it was just that Adaes FC's Sérgio Viegas managed to reach the ball for a save. If Augusto Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Gomes's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Jorge Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Hélder Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandro Moura during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute, Augusto Gueifão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Queirós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Sérgio Viegas made a huge save. The Adaes FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Pepim's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Pepim.
