Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristóvão Luz started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Rates's zone, Alfredo Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Rocha came out of the goal and Alfredo Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th match minute, Bespeira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Mendes to maneuver through the defense. Raul Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bespeira FC's goalkeeper Raul Delgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Daniel Vaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Rocha was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 23rd minute, Carlos Melo made a precise shot to the right of Raul Delgado. Bespeira FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jacinto Gaspar hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The corner led Bespeira FC's Henrique Nunes to fire away a dangerous shot which Lucas Rocha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 45 played minutes Bespeira FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Pinheiro. 48 minutes into the match, Bespeira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Luz came free, but Raul Delgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Vaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Bespeira FC's Daniel Vaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucas Rocha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 56 minutes into the match, Alfredo Pinho notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Rates's Lucas Rocha. Lucas Rocha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Alfredo Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bespeira FC's Alfredo Pinho got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute Daniel Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristóvão Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Raul Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Bespeira FC booed when Rates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliveira Guerreiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henrique Nunes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucas Rocha. Rates's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristóvão Luz during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristóvão Luz hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Vaz in the 78th minute of play forced Rates's goalkeeper Lucas Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Delgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Luz in the 80th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Garcia during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bespeira FC's Jorge Garcia got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 86th minute, Alfredo Pinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Melo scored 2-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raul Delgado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
