The SC Relva fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when SC Relva's Simão Fernandes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 15th minute, one of Tolosa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tolosa. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Fonseca got free with Paulo Ferro in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Simão Fernandes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Ferro having to make a save. In the 22nd minute Simão Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Ferro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If João Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tolosa's Gabriel Coimbra got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the SC Relva defense, Cristóvão Neves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mário Garcia. The SC Relva fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mário Garcia should have stopped the shot. Cristóvão Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 minutes of play, Tolosa's Gabriel Coimbra made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mário Garcia was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the match, SC Relva's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Neves came free, but Mário Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raul Jesus hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 41st match minute, Tolosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Queirós to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, SC Relva's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Neves came free, but Mário Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Raul Jesus fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Relva's protests and gave Raul Jesus a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SC Relva getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Raul Jesus hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Coimbra made a kick off. If João Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Ferro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Simão Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Ferro having to interfere. Cristóvão Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Mário Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Tolosa booed when SC Relva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heitor Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cristóvão Neves came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Tolosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristóvão Neves couldn't finish the play. If Gabriel Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emanuel Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. SC Relva's Mário Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save SC Relva from getting a goal against them. Simão Fernandes scored 3-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Ferro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gabriel Coimbra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Mário Garcia made a huge save. 97 minutes into the match, SC Relva's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Coimbra came free, but Mário Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Relva were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tolosa for a fine match.
