Inácio Silva was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 7th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Raul Jesus struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Daniel Moniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Relva. After a defensive mix-up in Rabacos's zone, João Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Moniz came out of the goal and João Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, Simão Fernandes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rabacos's Daniel Moniz. Daniel Moniz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Gabriel Vieira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mário Garcia. That made the score 1-1 in the 20 minute of play. After some careless play in the Rabacos defense, João Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Moniz. The Rabacos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Moniz should have stopped the shot. Daniel Moniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Rabacos's Daniel Moniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Fernandes in the 31st minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Vieira to strike the kick off in the second half. Sérgio Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mário Garcia having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Fonseca got free with Daniel Moniz in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Moniz made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when João Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. If Gabriel Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mário Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Vieira in the 78th minute of the match. A hard shot by Heitor Correia from long distance, 83 minutes into the match, got Daniel Moniz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
