Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Travancinha's Manuel Barbosa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Jacinto Morais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th match minute, Queiriz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Mota to maneuver through the defense. Mário Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Barbosa in the 9th minute of the match. Jorge Anjos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Rogério Pinheiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mário Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Morais, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. David Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Jorge Anjos came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rogério Pinheiro could save by the left post. 32 minutes into the game, SC Travancinha's Hélder Leal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mário Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 35th minute Joel Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Manuel Barbosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mário Amaral. Queiriz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Rogério Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Queiriz booed when SC Travancinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Queiriz were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after SC Travancinha's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. António Esteves took the corner. The corner ended in António Esteves almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SC Travancinha's Rogério Pinheiro did a great save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 60th minute, Joel Leal made a precise shot to the right of Rogério Pinheiro. SC Travancinha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Joel Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Queiriz's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Leal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogério Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rogério Pinheiro came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Queiriz's Jorge Anjos. But to his dismay, Jorge Anjos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Rogério Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Rogério Pinheiro came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Queiriz's Joel Leal. But to his dismay, Joel Leal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. After 79 played minutes SC Travancinha got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Machado. Rogério Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Jacinto Morais struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Mário Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Travancinha. David Marques charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Marques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Queiriz's David Marques got a free kick in the 91st minute. Jacinto Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Mário Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Travancinha's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
