When Júlio Barbosa fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vinhos's protests and gave Júlio Barbosa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, Domingos Pinheiro made a precise shot to the right of David Miranda. Vinhos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 12 minutes into the game, André Lisboa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pisao FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vinhos the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pisao FC's André Lisboa got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute Domingos Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Pisao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Lisboa to maneuver through the defense. António Barros's late challenge caught a Pisao FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. António Barros helped the player get up and apologised. Bernardo Lisboa struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. David Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pisao FC. After a rather tough play, Vinhos's António Barros got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Domingos Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Pisao FC's Domingos Pinheiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Miranda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Artur Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Rui Miranda got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Artur Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Barbosa in the 35th minute of play. If Júlio Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pisao FC's Artur Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Barbosa in the 44th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vinhos's zone, Domingos Pinheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Miranda came out of the goal and Domingos Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Lisboa in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Miranda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardo Lisboa made a kick off. David Miranda made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Domingos Pinheiro sent off a good shot on target. In the 65thth minute of the game Júlio Barbosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pisao FC's Artur Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Miranda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingos Pinheiro in the 67th minute. David Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Lisboa in the 68th minute of play. Bernardo Lisboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Lisboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. David Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Lisboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Pisao FC booed when Vinhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Lisboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. David Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Lisboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Lisboa kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Vinhos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by André Borges in the 94th minute. A nice corner shot did that André Borges got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Artur Alves quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rui Miranda in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Pisao FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
