Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Vinhos's Rui Miranda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Catarino Matias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rui Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the match, Gil Moreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Catarino Matias. Dogueno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gil Moreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Dogueno's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Miranda came free, but Catarino Matias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Catarino Matias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Catarino Matias came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Vinhos's Júlio Barbosa. But to his dismay, Júlio Barbosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 29 minutes, António Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vinhos and the Dogueno players grew even worse after the yellow card. António Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Sérgio Branco was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. André Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. João Viegas took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Miranda. David Miranda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vítor Leão was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Vinhos's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Antunes came free, but David Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Dogueno's zone, Rui Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Catarino Matias came out of the goal and Rui Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Catarino Matias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Barbosa in the 59th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Dogueno:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vinhos:s goal. When the match had been going on for 62 minutes, Vinhos's André Borges got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Catarino Matias. Rui Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Catarino Matias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Dogueno getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Luís Amorim hit a great ball. Vinhos's David Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Amorim in the 81st minute of play. Vítor Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. David Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rui Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Rui Miranda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vítor Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Miranda having to interfere.
