Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sandro Queirós started the match with the kick off. Mariano Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th minute, Vítor Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute, Mariano Aleixo made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo Lopes. Aguiar FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Rodrigo Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Aleixo in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Vermelha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Luz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Vermelha FC booed when Aguiar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Queirós in the 26th minute of play forced Aguiar FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, one of Aguiar FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aguiar FC. The referee gave Vermelha FC a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lourenço Delgado, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aguiar FC's Rodrigo Lopes. 0-2. In the 33rd match minute, Aguiar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. Lourenço Delgado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rodrigo Lopes. Aguiar FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eusébio Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Nunes in the 38th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Vermelha FC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Aleixo. Rodrigo Lopes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Aleixo went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Rui Nunes made the kick off in the second half. Eusébio Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Mota in the 60th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Luz during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Vermelha FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Luz. If Rui Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Vermelha FC's Mariano Bessa got a free kick in the 64th minute. 65 minutes in the game, António Mota dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 69th minute, Daniel Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aguiar FC were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Vermelha FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jacinto Cabral took the corner. After taking down the ball on Aguiar FC's corner Jacinto Cabral fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eusébio Baptista quite easily take care of the ball. Rui Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Eusébio Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusébio Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rui Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Aguiar FC's Rodrigo Lopes got control of the ball when Mariano Aleixo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Vermelha FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vermelha FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
