Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in SC Salao's zone, Nuno Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Marques came out of the goal and Nuno Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrique Figueiredo struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Pedro Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Friande. SC Salao's Pedro Marques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save SC Salao from getting a goal against them. Joel Vaz hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. SC Friande's Paulo Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Coimbra in the 21st minute of play. Henrique Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Ribeiro in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Vieira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abel Brás charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Brás the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pedro Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Porto hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Nuno Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Friande's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrique Figueiredo got free with Pedro Marques in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, SC Salao's Adelino Sousa got a free kick in the 46th minute. Pedro Marques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Figueiredo in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Ribeiro made a kick off. After some careless play in the SC Salao defense, Abel Brás kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Marques. The SC Salao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Marques should have stopped the shot. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for SC Friande. António Esteves stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pedro Marques. 2-0. Thanks to some nice moves Lucas Coimbra could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Paulo Vieira however easily saved by the left post. SC Salao were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after SC Friande's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joaquim Dantas took the corner. The corner led to SC Salao's Adelino Sousa getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Lucas Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Paulo Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrique Figueiredo in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Marques saved SC Salao from getting behind. Paulo Vieira made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Lucas Coimbra sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the match, SC Salao's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Matos came free, but Pedro Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Ribeiro in the 92nd minute of play forced SC Friande's goalkeeper Paulo Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Friande were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Salao for a fine match.
