Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Deimaos's Jorge Guarda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Oliveira Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Gonçalo Setúbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Deimaos's zone, Sandro Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonçalo Setúbal came out of the goal and Sandro Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Jorge Mota's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonçalo Setúbal was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Ricardo Moutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, SC Choupico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lourenço Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, SC Choupico's goalkeeper Cristiano Cardoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by António Anjos. Gonçalo Setúbal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Deimaos's Jorge Guarda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristiano Cardoso. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. A collision led to SC Deimaos getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ricardo Moutinho hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, SC Choupico's Lourenço Figueiredo tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Oliveira Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Setúbal having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when António Anjos got free with Cristiano Cardoso in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oliveira Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Setúbal having to interfere. The goalkeeper, Cristiano Cardoso, was totally fooled by SC Deimaos's David Mota, who 47 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Mota was the one to do the kick off. Sandro Aguiar's late challenge caught a SC Deimaos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandro Aguiar helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes SC Deimaos got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Vaz. With a little luck, SC Deimaos's Gonçalo Setúbal got control of the ball when Oliveira Macedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorge Guarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Cristiano Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers António Anjos in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristiano Cardoso saved SC Choupico from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, António Anjos managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Deimaos's supporters rose to their feet, but António Anjos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Cardoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Guarda in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristiano Cardoso saved SC Choupico from getting behind. Jorge Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Gonçalo Setúbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Ricardo Moutinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Deimaos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Choupico the free kick. In the 87th match minute, SC Deimaos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Moutinho to maneuver through the defense. SC Deimaos's Gonçalo Setúbal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Mota in the 90th minute of play. If Jorge Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If António Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Deimaos had won after a very even match.
