Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Armando Garcia was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 12th minute, Abel Castro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pinheirinho FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Pinheirinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Castro came free, but Fábio Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Pinheirinho FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Nuno Moura hit a great ball. Pedro Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Delfim Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Castro in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fábio Leal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

If Óscar Lisboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Pedro Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malhundes's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fábio Leal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Moura's late challenge caught a Pinheirinho FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Moura helped the player get up and apologised. Pinheirinho FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nuno Moura in the 59th minute. If Fábio Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 minutes, Fábio Gonçalves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pinheirinho FC and the Malhundes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fábio Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. A collision led to Malhundes getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Daniel Moura hit a great ball. In the 98th minute, Nuno Moura sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Malhundes's Lúcio Fonseca didn't even have to move. For all the effort they put into the match, the Malhundes players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pinheirinho FC.
