Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marco Luz got the match started through his kick off. Alexandre Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Veiga in the 5th minute of play. Mário Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Moura having to interfere. Alexandre Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Velosa FC's goalkeeper Vítor Viana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by António Santarém. 17 minutes into the match, António Santarém had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vítor Viana. Velosa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that António Santarém was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Mário Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mário Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Alexandre Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Mário Veiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexandre Moura was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Alexandre Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 36 played minutes Marco Luz rounded Velosa FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. In the 40th minute Marco Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandre Magalhães hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Mário Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miguel Santos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexandre Moura having to make a save. If Mário Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mário Veiga to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Miguel Santos sped through SC Samaioes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alexandre Moura. In the 58th minute, Joaquim Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Samaioes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alexandre Pinto in the 61st minute. The corner led to SC Samaioes's Jorge Leão getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Miguel Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the game, one of SC Samaioes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Velosa FC. Daniel Campos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alexandre Moura. 2-3. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Mário Veiga took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Alexandre Moura to make any attempt to save it. If Marco Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Luz in the 87th minute of play forced Velosa FC's goalkeeper Vítor Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Moura having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Mário Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Velosa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mário Veiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Moura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Setúbal's late challenge caught a Velosa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Setúbal helped the player get up and apologised. André Setúbal kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The supporters of Velosa FC booed when SC Samaioes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Velosa FC's Daniel Campos tried to score from far away in the 98th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 100th minute, Mário Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Velosa FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
