The supporters of Pinheiral FC booed when Alcabideche FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Tiago Carvalho in the 4th minute really tested Domingos Valente's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Jorge Leiria came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Pinheiral FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Leiria couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute, one of Alcabideche FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alcabideche FC. Jorge Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. António Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Pinheiral FC's Tiago Carvalho broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jorge Leirias short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Domingos Valente to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alcabideche FC's Domingos Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Macedo in the 27th minute of play. Manuel Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Américo Monteiro having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Catarino Moniz in the 36th minute of play forced Pinheiral FC's goalkeeper Américo Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Catarino Moniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Américo Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Américo Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Américo Monteiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Almeida's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Américo Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Almeida stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Macedo in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingos Valente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Pinheiral FC's zone, Catarino Moniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Américo Monteiro came out of the goal and Catarino Moniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Catarino Moniz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Américo Monteiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Macedo in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingos Valente saved Alcabideche FC from getting behind. Domingos Valente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Macedo's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Jorge Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Leiria's late challenge caught a Alcabideche FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Leiria helped the player get up and apologised. If Catarino Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinheiral FC's goalkeeper Américo Monteiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jorge Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Jorge Leiria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingos Valente was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Daniel Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Domingos Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pinheiral FC's Américo Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Almeida in the 96th minute of play. Jorge Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Domingos Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pinheiral FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
