Rodrigo Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariano Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Matias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristóvão Bessa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusébio Luz in the 12th minute. Joel Amorim hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Paiva in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to SC Vinhas getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Rafael Paiva hit a great ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Eusébio Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Camoes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafael Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Lima having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Matias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Mariano Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Manuel Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Cristóvão Bessa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Manuel Sousa made the kick off in the second half. Rafael Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Lima having to interfere. Mariano Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Matias, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. With a little luck, Camoes FC's Mariano Lima got control of the ball when Rafael Paiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Eusébio Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camoes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusébio Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
