Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Gonçalves started the match with the kick off. If David Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When SC Lares's Daniel Gonçalves in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rolao FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Rolao FC's Rodrigo Esteves got control of the ball when Adelino Faria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodrigo Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Gonçalves in the 14th minute of play. SC Lares's Adelino Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in SC Lares's zone, David Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Marques came out of the goal and David Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eusébio Moura struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Jorge Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rolao FC. David Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Rodrigo Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Esteves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Gonçalves's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. When David Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Rolao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Aguiar couldn't finish the play. SC Lares's Jorge Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Moura in the 39th minute of play. If Adelino Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 49 played minutes Daniel Gonçalves rounded Rolao FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusébio Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. David Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Marques having to interfere. Rolao FC's David Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delfim Barros hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. If Eusébio Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Adelino Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Lares's supporters rose to their feet, but Adelino Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Faria in the 74th minute of play forced Rolao FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusébio Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Faria in the 85th minute of play. Rolao FC's Rodrigo Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Faria in the 93rd minute of play. Daniel Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Esteves having to interfere. Daniel Gonçalves might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Esteves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Gonçalves ran back to his position shaking his head. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
