Jorge Domingues charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of SC Cascalheira booed when SC Urzelina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Afonso Mendes, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 64 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Tiago Reis was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Xavier Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th match minute, SC Urzelina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Assunção to maneuver through the defense. After 78 minutes SC Urzelina's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ricardo Valente who took care of the corner kick. Cristiano Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Carvalho in the 80th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Afonso Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
