Mourisia FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Daniel Carneiro scored to the left of an out of position Gil Leite, making the score, 1-0. Joel Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute Paulo Matias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Basílio Setúbal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Joel Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Matias took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vasco Araújo. Vasco Araújo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 44 minutes into the match, Almegue's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Matias came free, but Vasco Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Paulo Matias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mourisia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Matias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 48thth minute of the game Joel Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Almegue's Vasco Araújo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
Paulo Matias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vasco Araújo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Joel Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Vasco Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Almegue's zone, Paulo Matias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasco Araújo came out of the goal and Paulo Matias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 minutes, Júlio Veiga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almegue and the Mourisia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th match minute, Almegue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Veiga to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, Almegue's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Cruz came free, but Vasco Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Duarte Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Almegue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duarte Tavares couldn't finish the play. Paulo Matias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Araújo having to interfere. Paulo Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Vasco Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Mourisia FC booed when Almegue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Paulo Matias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mourisia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Matias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vasco Araújo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Almegue's Daniel Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mourisia FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Almegue to leave the ground with a draw.
