Vítor Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Correia in the 3rd minute of play. SC Tropeco's Alexandre Fontes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 6th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusébio Leite in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lúcio Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Alexandre Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lúcio Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basílio Macedo scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vítor Pacheco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute, Jorge Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogério Bessa charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogério Bessa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SC Agucadoira booed when SC Tropeco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Bessa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When SC Agucadoira's André Leiria in 26 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Vítor Pacheco guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 30 minutes into the match, SC Tropeco's Alexandre Fontes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lúcio Oliveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexandre Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Oliveira having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiago Vieira during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th match minute, SC Tropeco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Vieira to maneuver through the defense. When André Leiria came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the SC Agucadoira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Leiria couldn't finish the play. The supporters of SC Agucadoira booed when SC Tropeco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandre Fontes in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lúcio Oliveira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rogério Bessa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Lúcio Oliveira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Eusébio Leite made the kick off in the second half. Catarino Amaro charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Catarino Amaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd match minute, SC Agucadoira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Catarino Amaro to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute Alexandre Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vítor Pacheco was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Ricardo Correia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ricardo Correia really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 62 minutes into the game, SC Tropeco's Alexandre Fontes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lúcio Oliveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. If Eusébio Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alexandre Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Oliveira having to interfere. Ricardo Correia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Tropeco's Vítor Pacheco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Tropeco from getting a goal against them. Ricardo Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Pacheco having to interfere. Eusébio Leite might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lúcio Oliveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusébio Leite ran back to his position shaking his head. When Rogério Bessa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. A collision led to SC Tropeco getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Rogério Bessa hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, SC Tropeco's goalkeeper Vítor Pacheco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Correia. The SC Tropeco supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Agucadoira's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Agucadoira.
