The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emílio Guarda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

With a little luck, SC Ameijoeira's Emílio Guarda got control of the ball when Sérgio Oliveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Casa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albertino Santos came free, but Delfim Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, Casa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Casa FC's Delfim Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Azevedo in the 88th minute of play. Sérgio Oliveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emílio Guarda having to make a save. The Casa FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
