Ribeirinha's Américo Henriques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Vieira in the 26th minute of play. Barbas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Ricardo Resende scored to the left of an out of position Simão Resende, making the score, 2-0. Américo Henriques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Macedo in the 39th minute of the match. Carlos Porto's shot from long distance in the 43rd minute was not bad at all, but Barbas FC's Simão Resende knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Cristóvão Baptista charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristóvão Baptista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristóvão Baptista hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute of the match Cristiano Correia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simão Resende showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bernardo Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Américo Henriques having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Ribeirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Vieira came free, but Américo Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
