A hard shot 7 in the game by José Barbosa from a close distance when the talented Henrique Torres managed to make a qualified save. SC Zimbreiros's players were relieved. 10 minutes into the game, Heitor Faria recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Henrique Torres. Heitor Faria showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Heitor Faria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrique Torres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Heitor Faria was extremely unlucky when he, in the 18th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. José Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Henrique Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Ferragudo. SC Zimbreiros's Henrique Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Faria in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of SC Ferragudo booed when SC Zimbreiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquim Leiria was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 36 played minutes SC Zimbreiros got a freekick which was hit by Gil Cunha. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Gueifão in the 41st minute of play forced SC Ferragudo's goalkeeper Jacinto Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SC Ferragudo booed when SC Zimbreiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Heitor Faria made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, SC Ferragudo's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Gueifão came free, but Jacinto Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Leiria placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! António Andrade hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. SC Ferragudo's José Barbosa got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Heitor Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Cruz's late challenge caught a SC Ferragudo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SC Zimbreiros getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Paulo Cruz hit a great ball. Manuel Assis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Henrique Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xavier Queirós was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. SC Zimbreiros's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of SC Zimbreiros booed when SC Ferragudo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Assis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Filipe Gueifão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Zimbreiros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Gueifão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the game, SC Ferragudo's Heitor Faria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henrique Torres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Xavier Queirós took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Gonçalves. Jacinto Gonçalves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. SC Ferragudo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
